Pickleball has become the fastest growing racquet sport in the country, and many parks and clubs now share tennis courts with painted pickleball lines or have converted courts outright. Dedicated pickleball facilities, indoor and outdoor, rent courts by the hour and run open play sessions where players rotate in. Padel, played on an enclosed court with glass walls, is arriving in the Sun Belt and big cities; platform tennis (paddle) is a winter game on heated, elevated courts in the Northeast and Midwest; racquetball and squash live inside athletic clubs and YMCAs; badminton and table tennis have their own clubs in most metro areas. Equipment is cheap to rent or borrow for a first session at nearly all of them.

Wow what a great place to play pickleball. Yeah the young kids smoked my butt but it is well worth the trip!

Hard time finding open courts and usually there is a group of people there that rudely insist that you rotate out. Would not recommend if you are new or want to practice. It’s unfortunate that some people ruin the pickleball experience.

We love playing pickleball! However, some people that play at these courts can be very rude especially to newcomers. The courts are very nice but sometimes the people can really ruin an experience.

Pickleball courts are fantastic. Just have a little issue with wind, but that’s going to addressed as they are adding wind screens in the spring of 2024. Parking is also very close to the courts. The place is clean and safe.

Very nice park. However, it took multiple trips of trying to play pickle ball before we could finally get an open court, and then 5 minutes into playing we had some lunatics screaming at us to leave, and then yelling about us to all the other courts. The people next to us graciously gave up their court knowing they we had JUST arrived. And then these horrible people kept screaming and yelling about us the whole time until we left. By the time I got to the car I was in tears and shaking. I told my husband that I got the distinct impression that we were not welcome there, and may get run out again if we dare to come and try to play. If you’re trying to learn the game I’d find a more friendly park to go to.
